This book is more of a teaser to the author's self help work than any real coverage of Nikola Tesla. I got it free and it was scarcely worth the price of admission. I read the entire work in less than two hours. One third of the book is an introduction full of quotes and name drops from people such as Malcolm Gladwell or Mark Twain that had little relevance to the text. My high school history book contained nearly as much information on Tesla as this book. If you know absolutely nothing about Tesla and the dramatic conspiracies against him, read the wikipedia article. It has much more about the man and his life than this book. Tesla is a fascinating figure and I highly recommend anyone interested in our scientific heritage learn more about his life and work.

Very little Tesla

I expected this book to be a biography of Tesla, who apparently was a very inventive, brilliant individual. Instead, this book turned out to be a method for the author to prevent his point of view on the creativeness and/or positive thinking (although the message is very mixed about just what he is trying to encourage), with a few pages thrown in about Tesla's life. And most of those pages sounded like something taken straight out a history text, dry and factual, with no links between different stages of Tesla's life. So, don't expect to learn anything about Tesla even if this is the title of the book.

If you really want to know about Tesla, do not bother with this book. It is a sham Biography, written by a Tony Robbins wannabe who simply goes on and on and on about intelligence and imagination. It comes off like a High School essay.
